Shape: Vee through the fins with a slight double concave. Comments: Semi gun to gun. Lower entry rocker than the W-2, great for getting in earlier on those bigger days. Made for big hollow waves, draw longer lines than the W-2.

This is the board that AL and Dane designed during his 2007 WCT qualification year. While traveling and surfing various types of waves, Dane found The Proton suited his surfing in all conditions. Original and truly unique from any other board in our line. This board has continuous rocker throughout. The bottom consists of a deep single concave, and full rails. Dane normally rides a 2 3/8 MBM and orders his Protons at 2 1/4, so order yours a 1/8 thinner.

The MBM + is an updated version the MBM. Working closely with team riders, Al has modified the bottom contours to create the MBM +. All our team riders that were riding MBM are now riding the MBM+ and getting great results. Nathaniel Curran recently rode the MBM + to victory at the US Open and the Lacanau Pro in route to qualifying for the 2009 WCT. The MBM + needs to be surfed vertical and in the pocket. It consists of a single concave bottom to a flip in the tail.
